Frequently asked questions

SNA Toolbox provides a unique key to understanding the impact of peer influence on athlete performance and team cohesion. Using social network mapping, we unlock insights into informal team dynamics and the "unwritten rules" that can differ from official team strategies and expectations.

SNA stands for Social Network Analysis and is a way of representing and analyzing relationships among team members as a network of connections. SNA is key to our innovative approach in measuring team dynamics and cohesion.

Only authorized team staff with individualized usernames and passwords will have access to the reports.

Our reports provide quantitative metrics on player-to-player connections, wellbeing and peer-rated performance. Social network maps are a key component, allowing you to visualize and analyze team connectedness and social dynamics. We conduct and interpret advanced network statistics to offer actionable insights for enhancing team performance, cohesion, and culture.

SNA Toolbox includes everything standard surveys offer PLUS maps of social connectivity among athletes. In addition, you can integrate existing data on players (e.g., performance stats) and SNA Toolbox will analyze this alongside team attitudes and peer influence survey data to provide new insights on your existing team data.

The reports provide information at multiple levels of analysis for your team. They include insights about individual athletes and the team as a whole. Depending on the type of report you select, specific groups within the team (e.g., positions, training squads) can also be a focus.

Our data is securely stored, and the integrity of our software has been thoroughly assessed by the Cybersecurity Laboratory at Swinburne University of Technology.

The SNA Toolbox Privacy Policy adheres to the Australian Privacy Principles.
